NUMA, a collaboration among the University of West Attica, Sultanbeyli Municipality, Ardem Project and EcoMuse Consulting, focuses on Athens and Istanbul. Leveraging the knowledge triangle of education, research and business with active city involvement, NUMA aims to drive long-term innovation through tailored education. Key activities include developing courses for municipal employees and university students, organizing stakeholder events and emphasizing women's participation in urban mobility. Using innovative teaching methods, hands-on applications, and a blend of theoretical and practical formats, courses will span six modules with self-study components fostering urban sustainability, innovation and gender perspectives. NUMA aims to have at least 75 EIT RIS participants in non-degree education and training, and a minimum of 90 participants in all Academy activities. The project plans to organize 10 stakeholder events and achieve 10,000 annual online impressions.
